THE "WANDERER" WITHIN
The Vagus Nerve is known as the "wanderer" due to its connective nature. It is quite literally the conduit for energy flow through out the body. Any signals from the brain and organs must pass through this nerve to send signals to the rest of the body.
The Vagus Nerve is the 10th Cranial Nerve and has the MOST EXTENSIVE distribution out of all of the cranial nerves. 

It is also the most important part of the parasympathetic nervous system (responsible for helping us calm down and relax).
